ePass is a software that helps the process of keeping track of registrations during a college techfest. It enables creation of reports which are useful for event heads and also for keeping track of income through registrations.

ePass 2.2 contains few bug fixes and some very useful plugins. The changes done are:

• SMS plugin added
• Category file creator plugin added

Important note about sms plugin The sms plugin works only with 160by2.com. Here is how you setup an account. You first need to create an account with email compatible site like www.gmx.com, then register this username with 160by2.com. So, now you have a pair of usernames for the email account and the 160by2.com account. Add these alongwith the password for the email account in the plugin.

Important note about email plugin
Email support is available for accounts that dont use SSL and used simple SMTP protocol. A good example will be www.gmx.com. In username write the whole thing, eg. nitinjavakid@gmx.com

Future features

These features will be implemented in the future version:

• Costing feature to calculate the difference of cost paid by the registrant and the event cost and alert of the same in reports
• Category edit options using GUI
• Registration edit option
